Haima Reddy's all- women film

At a time when Tollywood is debating about actresses in Tollywood serving as mere glam props, Haima Reddy, an associate of director K Balchander, is all set to change the trend.
The female director is geared up to direct a film which will have only women technicians. Haima along with her friends launched a production house which will produce this all-women flick.
Playback singer Kousalya is debuting as music director with this movie. The shooting of this film will start in the first week of July. Tara Master is the choreographer, Vijayasri is the cinematographer, Sudha is the editor and Kousalya pens the lyrics for the songs in this flick.
Director Haima Reddy however, claims that this film will have a few men in the star cast and it is not a movie on women’s issues. “This is a family entertainer and a regular commercial film. Even men can watch it. I just felt that women technicians are not recognized as much in T-wood as they are in the Hindi film industry. So, I brought all of them under one roof to make this film. Daggubati Ramanaidu is supporting us in making this movie. We are going to shoot this movie completely in his studio at Vizag,” says the director, who was a sound engineer and editor earlier. Fresh faces, Kuldeep, Hissar and Supriya will play the lead roles in this quirky film.
